SIMPLE HEALING BATH

This is a simple healing bath that I created a few years back and had posted to my GRIMOIRE 101 Tumblr page and have now decided to share here and tweak it a little to elaborate on why I chose certain 'ingredients':

What you will need:

  • Epsom Salts - Clears our Auras and strengthens them as well as aids our muscles and nerves 🛀
  • Lavender - Healing, Calming, Bringing Serenity, + Emotional and Physical balance 🌿
  • Rose Petals - Nurturing/Comfort, Self-Love/Self-Care, Calming Emotional Trauma, Brings Compassion back to the individual 🌹
  • Calendula Petals - Health, Joy, Renewal, Strengthens the heart and Raises the Spirit + it is an Anti-inflammatory 🌻
  • Chamomile Petals - Instill positive emotions/energy, Calming, Peace, Rest, Helps relax energy to allow receptivity 🌼
  • Peppermint or Lavender Essential Oil* - [Check Lavender above this will only address Peppermint] Purification, Healing, Stimulates Mental Clarity and Awareness, Renewal 🌱
  • Sea Salt - Cleansing, Purifying, Releasing negative emotions 🌊
  • Pink Himalayan Sea Salt - Removing energetic debris/Cleansing, Purifying, + Charging 🗻
  • Carrier Oil- Coconut or Jojoba** - Coconut Oil>Known to aid in skin care and has antibacterial properties +Purification and Protection, Jojoba>Known to aid in skin care and has antibacterial properties + Healing and Self-Love 🥥
*You can also choose which essential oil you like better, these two are specifically known to aid in healing physically and spiritually. 💜
*And, always be sure that you're not allergic to any ingredients before using them on your body🙌

**Note that if you feel that the essential oils are not properly mixed with the Epsom salts, you can instead put some drops into a carrier oil of choice which will help properly dilute and blend the essential oils to the ingredients. When essential oils are not properly diluted, they can be seen as a sort of film on top of the bath water which can cause irritation.

What to do:

Take ingredients and mix, preferably with a mortar and pestle (to grind up the herbs into a fine powder that would easily dissolve in your bath) but if you do not have one, then please do not be discouraged, just know you may have a little extra clean up once you're done.

*Also, you can always put the herbs into a tea bag or cloth and let it steep in the tub.

Next, run the bath water to your liking and swirl the mixture or *bag around in the water, assuring it blends well.

You can light a candle and/or some incense as well to help calm you just Please use Fire Safety whenever dealing with flames.

Once your bath is prepared, Hop in, Relax, Breathe, Unwind, and let the healing water and herbs flow over you!

I hope this is enjoyed and that people may use it when they're feeling like their mind, body, and spirit need a little relaxation, recovery, and healing time.

Blessed Be🔮
