I HAD A DREAM ABOUT...

So, I’ve been thinking, and I’ve decided to share some of my dreams on this blog and give you a little insight into what goes on in this crazy brain, lol.

I want to say that all of these are just my own interpretations, and you don’t have to listen to me, lol, I’m just sharing the dreams I’ve had and my own point of view on them as well as hoping to offer whatever I can to anyone who is interested in dream work and/or interpretation in general.

So, with this first entry, I actually came upon it by surprise. I was thinking of starting this ‘series’ and I went into my phone’s notes to look for a specific dream to *pin to memory. As I scrolled, I found the following entry. I didn’t even remember the dream originally, but I feel like I should share it anyway because maybe there is a reason for me finding this one first.

Now, with this first entry, there is no interpretation. You’ll understand why in a moment.

Again, none of these are meant to say definitively that they have meaning one way or another, I’m just offering what I remember of a dream and how I then felt about it and/or how I may interpret it for me.

You don’t have to follow every single thing I say, lol. I want you to be able to find your own craft and enjoy things in your own way. I can and do help others interpret their dreams but as I said, my understanding and interpretations are not the 'know-all-be-all" way of going about dream interpretation.

So, below is the entry followed by my thoughts, I hope that by sharing these I can somehow connect more with likeminded people as well as learn more about my own dream magic.

Found March 4th, 2024- Written December 29th, 2023:

Entry: “I had a dream with a Native American woman, middle-aged or perhaps a little older, maybe between 50, 60, or 70? She had long straight black hair and I feel like she was dressed in layers and wrapped in a blanket with zigzags on it. We were sitting in a room on the floor and she and I were trying to do a ‘mind-connection’, where we closed our eyes and concentrated to see if we’d both see the same thing/image and the first time we tried, we both said “Square” at the same time.

Then, the next time, I believe we said, “Stairs”?

But the woman had also said something to me in my mind that I can’t remember now. 

And I don’t know why but I also feel like she gave me something? Something to put in my mouth or on my face? [Believe me, I know it sounds funny but I'm just copying what I wrote in my notes, so please, stay with me in the serious for a moment, lol]

I can’t remember exactly- the memory is faded and mixed up… but I feel like she got really close to my face too, maybe to whisper or just to tell me something up close but I can’t think of what it is either.”

Add on-I wish I could remember the dream more. I completely forgot about this dream until I decided to go back into my phone's notes. I read this and some glimpses of the dream came back but it’s only a memory of a memory and I can’t recall anything more unfortunately.

Again, I wish I could remember what she said but even then, it slipped away so fast… I still want to work on recall. I think I might add a post with crystals and herbs that aid in dream recall because it really would’ve benefited me in this situation, lol.

So, as you see, there was no interpretation because there wasn’t enough to gather from the dream other than the -maybe- obvious hints at opening up the mind's eye, connecting to a sacred form, connecting to ancestral roots, as well as this idea of a calling and spirit, guides, whomever-trying to give me a message, but that's if you see it that way, that is.

Overall, finding this dream has really made me go back and try to remember what she told me. I know it was important, but I go back and forth with the concept of "if it was really important, you'd remember" vs. "I feel in my gut that this is important, and I just wish I could remember."

So, what can I do? I'm going to try and see if I ask my guides and spirit, etc. to help me get the message again. I'm going to use a few crystals under my pillow for recall and memory (maybe labradorite, amethyst, and fluorite...) and maybe even make a satchel or something to boost the energy. I'll give these things a try and hope for the best... maybe I will receive the message in another dream and then maybe I can use my cards to clarify/verify what I'm being told/what's coming up. We'll see.

Anyway, all I know is that I'm glad to start this 'dream series' because I've always wanted to share my dreams and in finding this entry it's also motivated me to do more research and search my memory. Hopefully you enjoyed this and will come back for more, I believe I'll start each dream entry with "I had a dream about..." so it'll be easy to find.
